Chhalia Babu

Rita's (Zeenat Aman) father hides money stolen from Southern Bank, gets shot at the airport while trying to escape and utters the name of his daughter and a secret code before dying in the arms of a police officer. The culprits and the police are now chasing Rita, hoping she would know the location of the money. Meanwhile, a clueless Rita chances upon a local guide called Chhailla Babu (Rajesh Khanna) while on a trip to Kashmir. He saves her from a fatal skiing accident and they become friends until Rita suspects him of being the dreaded criminal who killed her father. As she tries to uncover the truth, other forces work to get to the money. Who is Chhailla Babu and what is he after?
